Are you a New Creature? Daily Bible Verse

Good morning readers!

It's been a couple of days since my last blog. Been busy with some things that I am excited to share with you all in the coming weeks. I know you all "missed" me LOL. Today for the bible verse I have chosen. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold , all things are become new."

I love this scripture so much. If you are newly in Christ; meaning you have been saved and Holy Ghost filled and baptized, you are made "NEW" I know you have heard the term "born again Christain". Well that's pertaining to this scripture. Because when have truly been born again the things you use to do you don't do them any more. You no longer have to dwell in your past mistakes because Christ made you a "NEW" creature and all those past things are now gone. 

  

   So I know some people may say, "we'll why I see some people that say they are saved , baptized and holy ghost filled drinking , smoking, etc." well that's because they aren't really born again Christians. They are living "Double lives" That's why I say never play with God. Its so many people out there "playing church" . Do you know when you you go to church, sing on the choir, shout , clap your hands; you are praising God. Showing the lord that you are taking out time to appreciate him. But when leave church and go smoke, curse, and continue doing the things you did, all that stuff you did while in church don't mean a thing! You can't serve two masters! You can't be on the choir Sunday and Saturday you were in the club. After awhile all that will catch up with you and it won't be pretty. 

 

 With that being said. When you get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost you are made new. Don't worry about your past relationships or friends. You can start your life over on a clean slate. Your heart and soul are renewed. So welcome and receive all the great things that The Lord has in store for you. And whatever you do never go back to the way you use to be no matter what anybody says. People will try to bring your past up, but just say Jesus has made me "New"! Remember things are turning around for You! Be blessed!
